Vrij Leven Hypotheek: making a flying start 

Rotterdam, 23 September 2019 - Hypotrust's latest product, the Vrij Leven Hypotheek mortgage, will be launched on 23 September 2019. This product is specially tailored to first-time buyers and includes a personalised service with long-term, sustainable funding.

First-time buyers 

First-time buyers are having a hard time in the current market. In addition to higher house prices and a smaller supply of homes, it is becoming increasingly difficult for first-time buyers to obtain a mortgage, meaning every euro matters. The Vrij Leven Hypotheek has been developed especially for this group of buyers. Including a competitive ten years fixed rate, customers also benefit from a ‘lowest interest rate check’ (‘passeerrente’) if the mortgage is originated within four months. In this way, consumers can save as much as possible – or at least have that one dream home (one that is suitable for their requirements) within reach. And if the offer doesn't lead to an origination, we won't charge any extra costs. If consumers are struggling financially during the term of the mortgage, we will investigate possible solutions. Hypotrust is also offering a cashback promotion of €300 for the first confirmed borrowers this year, which could be used to pay for the valuation report. This promotion applies to all customers within the promotional period and is on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Brand-new features 

This product by Hypotrust has a few more brand-new features. Firstly, the whole process has been made clearer and simpler for both consumers and consultants. More understandable, shorter text in both the mortgage offer and the underwriting criteria saves lengthy explanations and time. Using external sources such as the ‘UWV-verzekeringsbericht’ (a statement from the Employee Insurance Agency detailing your employment history and wages) as a replacement for the employer's statement means fewer links and checks are needed to provide clarity to consumers as quickly as possible. Steps have also been taken with regard to conditions. For example, Vrij Leven Hypotheek customers have the option of averaging out the interest rate during the term of fixed-interest period.

The lender behind the Vrij Leven Hypotheek is BAWAG P.S.K., one of the largest banks in Austria. The Hypotrust Vrij Leven Hypotheek mortgage can be applied for today and is available from the independent financial advisers, mortgage comparison websites and service providers that work with Conneqt.
